Director of Assisted Living

Walden Place, an established provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care in Cortland, has an immediate full time opportunity for an experienced and professional Director of Assisted Living to effectively direct and manage the Assisted Living Program (80 units). The selected individual will ensure that Senior Lifestyle standards and state requirements for resident care are met, direct staff, ensure regulatory compliance and is responsible for management of Assisted Living budget. This position reports to the Executive Director.

tQualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 2-3yrs related management experience within a long term care/assisted living environment. Active RN license in good standing in the state of NY a must. Although this position is a Director level position, the position is a hands on, working manager. Ability to lead and manage teams and solid communication skills also required.

CALC Seeks Temporary Executive

The Community Assisted Living Corporation (CALC) a not for profit corporation is seeking professional assistance to coordinate all aspects in implementing an Assisted Living Facility in Jefferson County. Working with the CALC board and other consultants the selected professional will be expected to

- Participate in an ongoing feasibility study, evaluate real estate options; evaluate funding options (equity and debt).
- Identify potential building sites.
- Identify assisted living facility managing partners.
- Identify and obtain commitment from funding sources.
- Identify design and construction partners.

The individual or organization selected should have documented capabilities and a minimum of three years experience in the following areas: Strategic Planning, Business Modeling, Financial Assessment, Goal setting and facilitation skills, Experience in procuring various types of credit arrangements and in fund raising.
