Quality Assurance Specialist

We are a family owned and managed organization, dedicated to bringing quality care to our residents. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide oversight to quality improvement activities for our assisted living communities with a focus on wellness, clinical management, medication management, education, environmental compliance, financial compliance and survey preparedness.

Major Job Duties:
Specific duties will include conducting audits of services being provided, Including: client records, medication records, environmental compliance, food service and recreation program, personnel records, supervision and education of staff, trending for falls, hospitalizations, complaints, incidents, and implementation of “best practices”.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.
2. Bachelor's degree with multi-site management experience in the assisted living,long-term care or home care industry.
3. Proven Quality Assurance experience.
4. The ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and state officials, hospital personnel and the general public.
5. Must meet state health requirements
6. Ability to travel between our communities. Must have car.
7. Can work flexible days and hours.
